JOB TITLE: Applications Specialist

DESCRIPTION: Designfusion, a rapidly expanding Siemens product life management (PLM) software reseller is looking to fill an immediate opening for an applications specialist. We offer an excellent working environment, tremendous growth potential, and compensation plans commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
‍
‍• Preparing and delivering CAD software presentations with our sales force.
• Delivering training and technical support for our customer base.
• Offering trade-show support and seminar presentations.

‍

‍REQUIREMENTS:
‍
‍• NX CAD and NX CAM (formerly Unigraphics or UG) experience would be desired but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of technical experience with a CAD and/or CAM system (Solidworks, Catia, Inventor, Mastercam, Surfcam, etc.)
• 3+ years experience in either the mechanical design field or working for a mechanical CAD software reseller, in a technical role.
• Computer programming skills with VB, C++, .NET, a plus.
• Post processor development through any CAM system, a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and in a results-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.‍
