The mesh can be automated easily even for the most complex CAD geometries thanks to the help of SmartCells technology. This unique technology which combines the Cartesian mesh with analytical (or semi-empirical) solver models is extremely efficient. It allows great precision for simulation with a reduced number of mesh elements compared to traditional CFD simulation software. Concretely, Smart Cells makes it possible to reduce the time spent meshing and solving, even on the most complex geometries.
FloEFD allows you to compare different configurations and different settings to allow engineers to understand the influence of certain modifications (geometries or conditions) on the results.Users can compare these results as values, graphs, or animations.
In addition to large databases of fan curves and packaging materials or 2-Resistor components, it also includes functions and specialized physics such as a PCB model and current Joule heating. It provides the possibility of absorbing radiation in transparent materials and takes into account refraction as in lenses. The LED module is ideal for the lighting industry and especially for LEDs, it includes a unique new LED model which predicts accurately operational light output (hot lumens) and temperature for your LED in situ.
