Job Summary

Designfusion is seeking a results-driven and highly motivatedAccount Manager to join our sales team. This technical sales role is responsible for driving sales including Siemens digital manufacturing software and consulting services across a multi-state territory. You will promote and sell engineering and digital manufacturing solutions to manufacturing companies across multiple industries, focusing on building long-term client relationships and driving new business opportunities. This position involves identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and delivering technical demonstrations to showcase the value of our advanced manufacturing software and services. You'll work closely with clients to provide exceptional support and guidance throughout the sales process, ensuring their success with our products and services.

KeyResponsibilities

• Software Sales: Identify and address the unique challenges faced by manufacturing companies by offering tailored solutions in the Siemens Digital Industries Software portfolio. Engage with decision-makers to uncover pain points like engineering inefficiencies, data management challenges, high costs, or design limitations, and demonstrate how advanced Siemens software technology can drive innovation to improve efficiency. Show how these solutions can seamlessly integrate into existing workflows, enabling companies to achieve greater productivity and maintain a competitive edge in their industry.
• Consulting Services Sales: Build relationships with potential clients by understanding their engineering and manufacturing challenges and presenting consulting services as a cost-effective and innovative solution. Highlight how our contracted services can address workforce shortcomings, providing skilled expertise and support to bridge     gaps in resources or capabilities. By positioning yourself as a trusted advisor, you'll create long-term partnerships that enhance their operations and add significant value to their engineering and manufacturing strategies.

• Tradeshows, Events and Prospecting: Represent Designfusion at trade shows and events to promote products and services to develop business opportunities. Generate sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, email marketing, etc.

• Customer Relations and Collaboration: Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing pain points, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities. Work closely with the technical team to align customer requirements, set expectations, define project timelines, and deliver solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

·      Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in industrial manufacturing, additive manufacturing, engineering, CNC machining equipment, or a related industry.

·      Associate or higher degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, communications, entrepreneurship, or a related field.

·      Excellent organizational and time management skills.

·      Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies and mechanical engineering processes.

·      Possess a strong familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM(Computer-Aided Manufacturing), FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software solutions.

·      Professional presence with strong communication and presentation skills.

·      A successful track record of selling to C-suite and mid-level executives.

Work Environment
