On June 3, 2022, we celebrated the official Grand Opening of our new Additive Manufacturing Showroom and Technical Center located in Milford, Ohio! We were honored to celebrate with over 80 attendees. Those of which included customers, community leaders, vendors, and members of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce. Food and refreshments for the event were provided by Big E’s BBQ food truck. In addition, we raffled off two pairs of Rekkie Goggles, a Go Pro, and $200 to the Siemens Web Store (donated by Garret Zylka).  

After establishing our location in Clermont County, we knew we wanted to give back to our community. Once connected with Tara Keith from Child Focus, we knew this would be the perfect community service partnership. At the event, we presented Tara with fidget toys for the children at our local Child Focus facility. The octopus and fidget spinner were designed by Engineering Intern, Caiden Roos and printed on our HP Jet Fusion 5200. In addition, all guests were gifted small succulent planters (also printed on the HP Jet Fusion 5200) as a token of our gratitude for the support they have shown throughout our expansion process.  

The end of our event was packed with excitement as we cut the ribbon to officially open the doors of our new facility! We received many awards from state and local officials. Those awards include:

Certificate of Congressional Recognition presented by District Director for US Representative Brad Wenstrup, Alex Scharfetter

Proclamation from the City of Milford presented by Mayor, Lisa Evans

Certificate of Recognition from Clermont County presented by Commissioner, Claire Corcoran

Certificate of Recognition from Clermont Chamber of Commerce presented by Chamber Ambassadors, Rob Lohr, Bill Dodge, and Ralph Vilardo  

This expansion allows room for growth as Designfusion deploys Application Engineers into the field. These Engineers will be specializing in consulting projects including, design/engineering services, CAM programming, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) services. This expansion also allows for the acquisition of new 3D printing technology and the ability to better serve our customers. It was great to see so many familiar faces in our showroom! Looking forward to hosting the next event!
