Running Simcenter FLOEFD for Solid Edge with on-premises license embedded in cloud-licensed Solid Edge X

Details:

To enable Simcenter FLOEFD to work with your on-premises license server while using cloud-licensed Solid Edge X, follow these steps:

1. Create a new Environment Variable:

o Type: User or System

o Name: EFD_LICENSE_SERVER

o Value Format: [port]@[server_name]

o Example: 29000@license_server_name

Note:

· This configuration allows the Simcenter FLOEFD add-in to locate its license features on your on-premises license server

· Solid Edge X will continue to use cloud licensing through your named user account

· The two licensing systems will work independently without conflict
