This could be the result of intersections created between the threaded pipe and threaded fitting. To resolve this problem, RMB click over the effected view and select ‘Properties’ from the shortcut menu. Select the ‘Advanced’ tab from the properties dialog, and toggle on ‘Process intersection’ found under the ‘Part intersection’ header. Also toggle on ‘Create face intersections of threaded parts (slow)’. Then update the view.
