Before installing Solid Edge 2024, make sure you have uninstalled earlier Solid Edge version and modules as usual.

One module that could easily be missed in the process is the “Design Configurator for Solid Edge 2023” since it is not listed with the other Siemens software and modules.

If you have updated to Solid Edge 2024 and deployed earlier registry settings using the Settings and Preferences Wizard:

Working with Solid Edge 2024, you might notice that the parameters dialog of the part copy command is not showing all the new options on the right (dialog too narrow).

You can fix this by closing Solid Edge, opening the registry editor and deleting the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Siemens\Solid Edge\Version 224\General\Position\IncludePart
