• Start a sketch at the origin so that inferred constraints are created to constrain the sketch position at the origin.

• Sketch in a counterclockwise direction to get the best initial placement of automatic dimensions.

• As you sketch, constrain regions to keep the sketch fully constrained.

• To test the design intent in a sketch, right-click a driving dimension and choose Edit Sketch Parameters. Drag the slider to animate the change.

• To design with sketches, you can create a sketch for each feature, or use a single sketch for multiple features.
